Duncan Bennett is a Class AA NZPGA Golf Professional and currently holds the position of Head Professional at the Ngaruawahia Golf Club in Hamilton. Before this Duncan was at the Taieri Golf Club for over 5 years and the former Park International for 13 years. He was also a coach for the newly formed Southern Golf Academy based in Dunedin, which recognises talented young players and gives them the opportunity to fully achieve their goals of becoming elite golfers.
Duncan’s studies have included golf psychology, biomechanics, learning and teaching styles, teaching drills and aids, golf technique, club repair and construction, rules of golf (A grade pass), business management and symototyping. Duncan was also named the PGA Trainee of the year from the New Zealand Professional Golfers’ Association in 2000.
